The Point Tech WP/WPC Water-Proof Live Center is engineered specifically for machining environments where heavy coolant exposure demands superior sealing and contamination protection. Guaranteed to 0.003 mm TIR (0.0001") accuracy, the center combines precision performance with enhanced waterproof construction to protect internal components and maintain operational reliability. A compact head diameter reduces interference with toolholders and cutting tools, improving access in confined machining setups and increasing application flexibility. The point is heat treated to HRc 60 ±2 to provide dependable wear resistance and long service life. For applications requiring even greater durability, a carbide-point version hardened to HRa 90 ±5 is available.
