The Point Tech UNH High Speed Multi-Sealing Live Center is the high-speed evolution of the UN-type platform, engineered for CNC machining applications that require both precision accuracy and enhanced contamination protection. Guaranteed to 0.003 mm TIR (0.0001"), the design incorporates a multi-sealing system that combines a high-performance lip seal with a V-seal to provide superior resistance against coolant, chips, and airborne contaminants. This sealing strategy significantly improves bearing protection, extends service life, and reduces maintenance downtime in automated manufacturing environments. The heat-treated point hardened to HRC 60 ±2 provides excellent wear resistance, while the heat-treated body enhances rigidity and durability under demanding operating conditions. For extended tool life and superior wear performance, the UNHC carbide-point version hardened to HRa 90 ±5 is also available. The UNH Series is ideally suited for high-speed precision machining operations where reliability and contamination control are critical.
