Guaranteed to 0.003 mm TIR (0.0001") accuracy, it features a sophisticated multi-sealing system that combines a high-performance lip seal with a V-seal to provide enhanced protection against dust, chips, and coolant intrusion. This advanced sealing arrangement helps extend bearing life, reduce maintenance requirements, and improve reliability in automated production environments. The point is heat treated to HRC 60 ±2 for durability, while the heat-treated body provides additional rigidity and strength. For applications requiring maximum wear resistance, the UNC carbide-point version hardened to HRa 90 ±5 is available.
