The SD Easy Thrust Adjustment Center provides 0.005 mm TIR (0.0001") accuracy and is an excellent complement to a face driver. It features automatic thrust adjustment for quick, efficient operation, with a heat‑treated point (HRc 60 ± 2) for durability. Axial force can be visually monitored through a colored ring on the rotor—indicating low, medium, or high thrust—allowing operators to set pressure with confidence. Its shock‑absorption capability protects spindle bearings from repetitive impact, while a high‑load disc spring compensates for length variations in workpieces and differences in center‑hole depth. A drain hole must be positioned at the bottom to prevent coolant ingress. A carbide point option is also available, hardened to HRa 90 ± 5 for extended wear resistance.
