The Point Tech BS/BSC High Speed Economical Live Center is designed to provide precision performance and dependable service for high-speed light-duty machining applications. Delivering 0.002 mm TIR (0.0001") accuracy and supporting spindle speeds up to 6,000 RPM, it is well suited for CNC machines, grinders, and precision turning operations. The heat-treated point hardened to HRC 60 ±2 provides durability and long service life, while double angular contact bearings support smooth, stable rotation at elevated speeds. An anti-friction seal helps deflect coolant and contamination, protecting internal components and extending service life. The heat-treated body adds rigidity and structural strength to support consistent machining accuracy. Optional carbide-point versions hardened to HRa 90 ±5 provide additional wear resistance for demanding production environments. The BS/BSC Series delivers an excellent balance of accuracy, durability, and value.
