Description
The Point Tech BP60A 60° Bull Head Live Center is designed for applications requiring additional reach and clearance while supporting hollow workpieces and components with extra-large center holes. Guaranteed to 0.003 mm TIR (0.0001") accuracy, the extended A-type configuration provides greater accessibility than standard bull-head models while maintaining precision performance. The heat-treated point hardened to HRc 60 ±2 ensures durability and dependable wear resistance in demanding machining environments. Like the BP60, it can be used both as a centering taper for hollow components and as a conventional live center for standard turning work. The BP60A offers increased flexibility for tube, pipe, and specialty machining applications where additional clearance is beneficial.
