The Point Tech BNN/BNNC Draw-Off Nut Live Center is designed for CNC and conventional machining environments where precision and operator convenience are equally important. Delivering guaranteed accuracy of 0.003 mm TIR (0.0001"), the center incorporates a draw-off-nut design that allows quick and easy removal from the tailstock, improving setup efficiency and reducing downtime. The heat-treated point hardened to HRc 60 ±2 provides dependable durability, while the double angular contact bearing assembly supports smooth, accurate rotation. A high-performance lip seal and deflected-shaft design protect internal bearings from coolant, chips, and contamination, extending service life and maintaining performance. The heat-treated body adds strength and rigidity to support demanding machining operations. Optional carbide-point versions hardened to HRa 90 ±5 are available for applications requiring superior wear resistance and prolonged service life.
