Its shaft‑extension design improves tool clearance and machining flexibility, while supporting spindle speeds up to 12,000 RPM. The heat‑treated point (HRC 60 ± 2) ensures durability, and the drain hole must be positioned on the bottom side for proper operation. A labyrinth seal provides effective coolant deflection and stability at extreme speeds, and the heat‑treated body adds strength, rigidity, and long service life. A carbide point option is also available, hardened to HRa 90 ± 5 for superior wear resistance.
