It supports spindle speeds up to 12,000 RPM, with a heat‑treated point (HRc 60 ± 2) for durability and long service life. A labyrinth seal provides effective coolant deflection and stable operation at extreme speeds, while the drain hole must be positioned on the bottom side for proper function. The heat‑treated body adds strength and rigidity, and a carbide point option is available, hardened to HRa 90 ± 5 for superior wear resistance.
