The Point Tech WPL30/WPL30C Water-Proof Live Center is designed for precision machining applications requiring both effective coolant protection and improved tool accessibility. The extended 30° design provides additional clearance around tooling and workpieces while maintaining guaranteed accuracy of 0.003 mm TIR (0.0001"). Enhanced waterproof construction protects critical internal components from coolant intrusion, helping maintain reliability and reduce maintenance requirements. The compact head diameter minimizes interference with cutting tools and toolholders, improving setup flexibility. A heat-treated point hardened to HRc 60 ±2 provides dependable durability, while a carbide-point option hardened to HRa 90 ±5 is available for demanding production environments. The WPL30 Series is especially well suited for CNC machining centers, grinding operations, and inspection equipment where coolant exposure is significant.
