Description
The Point Tech HS/HSN Super Heavy Live Center is designed for the most demanding heavy-machining applications involving workpieces exceeding 10 tons. With guaranteed accuracy of 0.01 mm TIR (0.0004"), it provides reliable support during heavy cutting operations on CNC lathes, large turning centers, and grinding machines. The primary load zone is reinforced using two double-row cylindrical roller bearings combined with spherical roller thrust bearings to provide exceptional rigidity, load-carrying capacity, and operational stability. Both the body and point are hardened for maximum durability, while the point itself is heat treated to HRc 60 ±2 for long service life. Available versions include draw-off-nut configurations as well as 75° and 90° point geometries to accommodate a wide range of heavy-machining requirements. The HS/HSN Series is built to deliver dependable support in applications where conventional live centers cannot handle the load.
