The Point Tech BP80 80° Bull Head Live Center is engineered for heavy-duty turning applications involving large hollow workpieces, pipe, tube assemblies, and components with oversized center holes. Delivering 0.003 mm TIR (0.0001") accuracy, the BP80 combines precision with the strength required for demanding industrial machining operations. A heat-treated point hardened to HRc 60 ±2 provides long service life and dependable wear resistance. The design includes an adjustable screw that allows fine tuning of head-section runout for improved setup accuracy and performance. Additional sealing and structural features help prevent coolant and chip ingress, contributing to stable operation and extended service life.
