The Point Tech BP60 60° Bull Head Live Center is designed for machining applications involving pipe, tube, and hollow workpieces where conventional center geometries may not provide sufficient support. Guaranteed to 0.003 mm TIR (0.0001") accuracy, the center provides dependable performance while accommodating extra-large center holes commonly found in tubular components. The heat-treated point hardened to HRc 60 ±2 delivers excellent durability and wear resistance for long service life. The versatile design allows the BP60 to function both as a centering taper for hollow workpieces and as a standard live center for conventional machining applications. This flexibility makes it a practical solution for shops handling a wide range of workpiece configurations while maintaining consistent accuracy and performance.
