The Point Tech BNI Interchangeable Points Live Center is engineered for versatile machining operations requiring rapid adaptation to different workpiece geometries and production requirements. The system provides 0.003 mm accuracy on the center inner diameter and 0.005 mm accuracy after locking the interchangeable point in place. A heat-treated point hardened to HRc 60 ±2 provides durability and dependable service life, while six standard point configurations allow the center to support a broad range of machining applications. The mounting system utilizes a precise 1/10-degree taper that promotes repeatable positioning and reliable performance during point changes. Because the system incorporates interchangeable insert shafts, admissible workpiece weight is limited compared to fixed-point designs. Special-shape points are available by custom order for unique production requirements. The BNI Series is an efficient and economical solution for shops requiring flexibility, reduced setup time, and multiple center configurations within a single live-center platform.
