The Point Tech BN/BNC CNC High Speed Live Center is engineered for CNC and conventional machining applications where precision, durability, and consistent performance are essential. Guaranteed to 0.003 mm TIR (0.0001") accuracy, the design utilizes a heat-treated point hardened to HRc 60 ±2 for long service life and dependable wear resistance. A high-performance lip seal combined with a deflected-shaft design helps prevent coolant and dust intrusion into the double angular contact bearing assembly, protecting critical internal components during prolonged operation. The heat-treated body provides additional rigidity and structural strength, helping maintain accuracy under demanding machining conditions. For abrasive materials and high-volume production environments, a carbide-point option hardened to HRa 90 ±5 is available. The BN/BNC Series provides an excellent balance of precision, durability, and protection for CNC and conventional machining operations.
