Description
The Point Tech BHSL30/BHSL30A Super High Speed Live Center combines ultra-high rotational speed capability with an extended 30° configuration that increases tool clearance and improves accessibility around complex workpieces. Guaranteed to 0.002 mm TIR (0.0001") accuracy and designed for spindle speeds up to 12,000 RPM, it is ideally suited for CNC machines, grinders, and high-precision production environments. The shaft-extension design provides additional machining flexibility while maintaining excellent rigidity and accuracy. A heat-treated point hardened to HRc 60 ±2 delivers dependable wear resistance and long service life, while an optional carbide point hardened to HRa 90 ±5 offers enhanced durability for abrasive materials and demanding applications. A labyrinth seal helps deflect coolant and contamination from critical internal components, and the drain hole must be positioned on the bottom side to ensure proper operation. The heat-treated body contributes additional strength and stability, making the BHSL30/BHSL30A Series a dependable solution for high-speed precision machining where accuracy, clearance, and durability are critical requirements.
